29th September 2022 – Adelaide, South Australia – Silentium Defence, the leaders in passive radar today announced that Anthony Kittel, South Australian entrepreneur, CEO of REDARC Electronics and founder of REDARC Defence & Space has joined its board of directors.
Kittel joins alongside Chair, Kim Scott as a non-executive director and brings more than 25 years’ experience in successfully scaling products and services businesses to the board.

In his board position, Mr Kittel will oversee design and implementation of the company strategy and support the team in its growth ambitions.

As of September 2022, Silentium has more than $11 million in Defence contracts under management and passive radar systems in various stages of trial across Army, Navy, and Air Force. The company is a key contributor to priority national programs including AIR6500 and the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare program.
The team has more than 60 full and part-time employees across multiple facilities and is targeting 40 per cent year-on-year growth over the next five years.
